One of my favorite things about living in the northeast is the beauty of the changing seasons. Particularly summer into autumn. The crisp mornings create the perfect setting for coziness. Enjoying my coffee on the porch with a warm sweater, a fluffy blanket, knitted slippers, and a good book is my favorite. The scene isn’t complete without my Boxer, Sadie. She loves to curl up with me on the chair – even if she doesn’t quite fit! From my cozy spot I can see the warm hues of changing leaves – the reds, oranges, and yellows. I can smell the fresh air that carries an earthy scent. The cool breeze causes my coffee to steam and warm my nose as I take a sip. Autumn hugs me tightly as it fades to cooler months ahead. I am grateful for Mother Nature’s greatness.
