The breathtaking views from the ski lift are just one of the reasons I loved our weekend trip to Waterville Valley, New Hampshire. Waterville Valley was the host site to my 12 year old’s hockey tournament this weekend. Not only did we enjoy lots of hockey, we also enjoyed the multitude of activities going on during their Fall Foliage Festival celebration. The Town Square was alive with live music, mechanical bull riding, face painting, balloon animals, photobooth, axe throwing, and much more. People traveled from near and far to experience the beauty of Waterville Valley.
The resort has a golf course, disc golf, tennis and pickleball courts, hiking trails, and bike rentals. It even has its own library! There is something for everyone!
We stayed at the Snowy Owl Inn for the weekend. It was quaint, rustic, and welcoming. They were even decorated for Halloween!
The quaint bookstore in the Town Center is where I purchased my next read. Jump over to my books section to check it out!
You’re probably wondering if our team won. They played so well together as a team despite only having two weeks of practice together. They made it all the way to the championship game with no losses the entire weekend. Unfortunately, the other team pulled off the win. While our kids were disappointed, they acknowledge the great lifelong memories they made together this weekend. Yes, I am a goalie mom ❤️
